Iran ready to expand energy cooperation with BRICS
TEHRAN- Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Ali-Abadi said that the Islamic Republic is ready to expand cooperation with BRICS in the field of energy.
“Considering that there are very good technologies and capacities in the field of energy generation in Iran; We are ready to develop cooperation in this field with Russia and other BRICS members”, the minister stressed.
Ali-Abadi, who traveled to Russia on Wednesday to participate in the meeting of energy ministers of the BRICS member countries, upon his arrival in Moscow, referring to Iran's privileged geographical position to strengthen and develop cooperation with the BRICS members, said: "Iran offers suggestions in this meeting in order to develop industrial and technical cooperation with BRICS members, while special attention is paid to renewable energy and a comprehensive program is foreseen in this field.”
